- ADORE GOD & SEEK HIS FACE BY CALLING ON HIS NAME
You are the Provider God….
Lord, you are my provider. You “will fully satisfy every need of [mine] according to [your] riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Phil.4:19). You will provide me with all of my daily living needs and equip me with the tools I need to carry out your will and your work.
2. CONFESS ANY SIN
Lord, reveal to me any form of pride, lack of love, unforgiveness, or bitterness….
Please show me any unholy practices or areas of disobedience to you…..
“Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love…blot out my transgressions…and cleanse me from my sin” (Psalm 51)….
3. THANK THE LORD FOR HIS GOODNESS, MERCY & PROVISION
Thank you Lord for forgiving and forgetting my sins….
Thank you for those things that you have already done in my life (even those things that don’t feel good)….
Thank you for the things that I know you will do….
Write down a few of the people, events or things that you are thanking Him for today:
(a) Pray for the world: West Central Africa: Cameroon, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Saint Helena and São Tomé & Príncipe
Holy Spirit, breathe life and blessing onto these nations of west-central Africa. Stability and peace are a great need. In Central African Republic, especially to the north and east, banditry and chaos often seem to reign, and constant armed conflict and coups undermine political and economic progress. In Cameroon, divisions of language (English and French), faith (Christianity and Islam) and politics threaten to divide a nation already weighed down by massive corruption.
Lord Jesus, reignite the flame of faithful passion in the lives of those who profess to be Your disciples. Nominal Christianity and syncretism (with animistic religions) is a major issue in each of these nations, all of whom have Christian majorities. May Your people claim a faith that is life-transforming, rather than life-enhancing.
Bring about economic justice in Equatorial Guinea and political freedoms to a nation dominated by a minority made rich by Western oil companies. Lift up those dwelling in extreme poverty in the CAR and Cameroon, and those similarly afflicted in Gabon.
Lord, continue to grow your church as You have in so many of these nations. Unify the many denominations so that they may serve You more effectively, and motivate churches in Cameroon especially to reach out to the unchurched in their nation. Thank you for the growth of the church in Gabon and other nations
(b) Write down the names of people who you are praying for today (especially the unchurched):
(c) Pray for your personal needs:
5. PRAISE, MAGNIFY & GLORIFY GOD
“Give ear to my words, O Lord; give heed to my sighing. Listen to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to you I pray. O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I plead my case to you, and watch.” (Psalm 5)….
“For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever…Amen”
